Our 'Email editor' is very different to our previous editors (in a good way). We think it's much simpler and easier, but we know that everyone needs a little help with new things. Here's some information and advice which might be useful for you.
Custom templates and components
All of our templates and components are super customisable - every component and article can be removed or edited - but if you can't find what you need then we can create custom ones just for you.
What about tables?
Tables and nesting tables can be really tricky, especially when you're trying to get your email campaign to look great on mobile devices. Using components and articles in our Email editor means that you don't need to mess around with tables any more to create the structure of your campaign - we've already sorted it out for you. Hooray!
Custom unsubscribe
If you include an unsubscribe campaign link in your campaign, we give you the option to remove our default unsubscribe footer when it’s sent. This option is a checkbox which will appear when you save the campaign.
Remember when choosing to use this that it's your legal responsibility to make sure that the unsubscribe link is really clear and easy for subscribers to find. If you hide it then people are more likely to hit the complaint button, which will really badly impact your ability to get emails to the inbox in future - the major ESPs (like Hotmail and Gmail) look out for high complaint rates and will put your campaigns in the spam box, or not deliver your emails at all! You might also find yourself in some dangerous waters if a recipient litigates against you because they couldn't find the unsubscribe link.
Copying and pasting content
Formatting problems arising from copying text from other sources like Microsoft Word are now a thing of the past. The editor has been designed to handle copied content making your email campaign creation faster and more reliable.
Can't find a feature you need?
Our Email editor is constantly evolving to meet the needs of our clients. If there's something you need to do with it that you can't, please let us know - we welcome your feedback.
